Before you start
Fill each bottle to about a third with water and tighten the cap. Line players up along tables, one arm's length apart.
- 1Hold the bottle by the neck and flip it so it spins once and lands on its base.
- 2A flip counts only if the bottle stays standing.
- 3Pick it up and flip again as fast as you can.
- 4Most successful landings in 60 seconds wins.
What to say3
- 1“One-third water, one flip, stick the landing!”
- 2“That one stood! Count it!”
- 3“Ten seconds — flip, flip, flip!”
Host tips3
- A loose cap empties a bottle across the table in one flip. Check every cap yourself before the clock starts.
- Bottles with too much water never land. Pre-fill them all to the same line so nobody claims their bottle was harder.
- Players argue over wobbling landings. Rule: it counts if it's still standing when the player touches it again.
Variants2
Cap landing
Only landings on the cap count. Rare and spectacular — use it as a tiebreaker.
Team tally
Every team member flips at once; the team's combined landings count.
Safety1
- Spilled water on tiles is a slip hazard — keep a towel at each table.
