Before you start
Put 6 cups in a row at the far end of the table. Tape a throwing line on the table about 1 m (3 ft) from the first cup.
- 1Throw each ball so it bounces on the table at least once before landing in a cup.
- 2Only one ball per cup. A ball that goes straight in without bouncing doesn't count.
- 3Fetch missed balls yourself; the clock keeps running.
- 4Fill all 6 cups within 60 seconds to win, or most cups filled wins.
What to say3
- 1“One bounce, then in the cup — no direct shots!”
- 2“Bounce… and in! That's two!”
- 3“One cup left! Ten seconds!”
Host tips3
- Carpeted floors swallow the missed balls and players waste the minute searching. Put a spotter on the floor to return them.
- Soft or tablecloth-covered tables kill the bounce. Take the cloth off or use a bare plastic folding table.
- Players aim too hard. Show the soft, high toss once — it's far more accurate.
Variants2
Egg tray
Bounce balls into an empty egg tray instead of cups. Easier for kids.
Wall bounce
Bounce the ball off a wall into a bucket on the floor. Most in 60 seconds wins.
Safety1
- Loose balls on the floor are a slip and twist hazard — clear them between players.
