How to play3

Before you start

Ask teams or volunteers to sign up and choose songs in advance. Cut each song to about 90 seconds and load them in performance order.

  1. 1Each act performs one song clip, miming the words — no real singing.
  2. 2Props and costumes are encouraged; the performance counts more than the accuracy.
  3. 3After all acts perform, the host holds each team's name up and the loudest cheer wins.
Cards for this game33

Edit them now. Host mode deals them one at a time, big enough for the room.

What to say3
  1. 1“No real singing allowed — it's all in the face and the moves!”
  2. 2“Next up, our team from Accounting! Give it up!”
  3. 3“Who won? Make some NOISE for team one!”
Host tips3
  • Never pull an unwilling person on stage. Ask for volunteers or team sign-ups a week ahead — forced performers make the whole room uncomfortable.
  • Vet every song in advance. Radio edits only; explicit lyrics on a big speaker at an office or church event are the classic disaster.
  • Cut songs to 90 seconds. Full songs are too long and every act's energy drops in the second verse.
Variants2
  • Mystery song

Acts do not know their song until it starts. Pure improvisation and very funny.

  • Department battle

Each department or family branch prepares one act weeks ahead. Becomes the main event of the night.

Safety2
  • Tape down any speaker or mic cables on the performance area.
  • Dramatic knee slides and jumps on a hard floor cause injuries — keep it on your feet.
