How to play4

Before you start

Set up one drawing station per team, each the same distance from the host. Teams of 4–8 sit around their station.

  1. 1Each team sends one artist to the host, who quietly shows them the first word.
  2. 2Artists run back and draw — no letters, numbers or talking.
  3. 3As soon as a team guesses correctly, a new artist runs up for the next word on the list.
  4. 4First team through the whole list wins.
Cards for this game34

Edit them now. Host mode deals them one at a time, big enough for the room.

What to say3
  1. 1“Artists, come to me — no peeking at the other teams!”
  2. 2“No letters, no numbers, no talking! Just draw!”
  3. 3“Team 2 got it! Next artist, run!”
Host tips3
  • Teams cheat by whispering the word to the next artist. Make every artist come to you, every time, and say the word to them quietly yourself.
  • Number the words and show the number with it. When teams fall out of sync, you will need to know which word each team is on.
  • Mix in a few easy words early. A team stuck on word one for three minutes gives up on the whole game.
Variants2
  • Blind artist

The artist draws with their eyes closed while teammates steer them. Good for a final round.

  • Christmas list

Parol, noche buena, simbang gabi, belen, Santa's sleigh — local words get the biggest laughs.

Safety1
  • Clear bags and chair legs out of the running lane between the host and the stations.
