Before you start
Build a playlist that spans decades and includes local hits. Split the room into teams of 4–8 and give each a bell or paddle.
- 1The host plays the first 3–5 seconds of a song, then pauses.
- 2The first team to ring their bell gets to answer. Title earns a point; title plus artist earns two.
- 3A wrong answer locks that team out for that song, and the host plays five more seconds for the others.
- 4Most points after the playlist wins.

- 3“Okay, lolas and titas, this round is for you!”
Host tips3
- Streaming apps throw an ad or the wrong song mid-game. Download the playlist and switch the phone to airplane mode before you start.
- Without a buzzer everyone shouts at once and you cannot tell who was first. Give each team a different noisemaker so you can hear who rang.
- A playlist chosen by one generation leaves the rest bored. Mix eras on purpose: a song for the kids, one for the parents, one for lolo.
